Retailer searches
On the website, you can search retailers using a suggested item’s name. A search opens only when you choose its link and sends the displayed search text to that retailer. We do not send the model source or a page referrer with that link.
The retailer receives normal browser and network information and may use its own cookies or tracking. Search results are not verified for compatibility, availability or price. These search links contain no affiliate tags, and we do not record their search text or destinations in operational metrics.
Temporary browser storage
Download pages keep a temporary copy of the design in this tab’s session storage so you can refresh the preview. This does not upload the design to our servers. The temporary link works only where that local copy is available. Browser session restoration may retain it; download the source or project file for a durable copy.
Optional accounts and saved models
When accounts are enabled, choosing Save uploads the complete design and Parts List to our Prisma Postgres database. Clerk manages sign-in. Anonymous previews and downloads do not automatically save models to your account.
Saved models are private until you publish a share link. Anyone with that link can view and download the published source. Draft changes stay private until you publish an update. Unpublishing stops new access, but cannot recall copies already downloaded.
You can delete models or your account from My Models. Active model records are removed; provider backups retain copies until their configured retention expires. A minimal deleted-account marker prevents delayed requests from recreating data.
Product links
Owners can add links they used. We remove recognized tracking and affiliate tags; unfamiliar retailer tracking may remain. We do not fetch product pages or verify compatibility. Administrators review retailer domains and aggregate link counts for potential affiliate programs, without viewing private models in that report.
Where an approved affiliate program is enabled, eligible website product links may earn B Street Labs a commission. These links are disclosed in the Parts List. Saved and exported project files retain ordinary product links.
Operational metrics
When enabled, we collect compile and preparation timings, feature-action counts, and coarse size and count ranges for source, declared views and parts, suggested items and generated meshes. We do not send design contents, names, identifiers, source hashes or download-link fragments in these metrics.
Saved-model operations also report fixed action counts, response statuses, and latency without account identifiers, model contents, or product URLs.
Metrics are stored in Vercel Observability for 30 days. Collection uses no tracking cookies or persistent identifiers and respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. The viewer works when metrics are blocked or disabled.
